Our hooks are made of tough aluminum and are easily painted to match your trim. The shingle hook is designed to butt right against the aluminum drip edge just under the edge of the shingles or have your contractor install the clip when having your roof replaced. Place your hooks every 18 to 24 inches. The package of hooks weighs 9 ounces.

When hanging your lights for the first time using Holiday Light Hooks install the hooks as you hang your lights. Whether you are using string-type mini lights, C7, or C9 the installation is the same. Determine where the socket will be and install the hooks in between so that the wire will be in the hook. I don’t like my lights perfectly straight so I allow a little sagging in between the hooks. The hooks can be installed with the sockets right next to the hook which will allow them to be installed in a straight line.
